A three-wheeled motorcycle built from scratch in my dorm room. Began in November 2017, and finally got it registered in April 2019. Having started with no vehicle building experience, this was a rather elaborate game of trial and error.
Heavy-lifting drones with 50 pound payload capacities for humanitarian aid delivery. Built the first prototype in high school, in March 2014. Over the next 4 years, I built 4 more prototypes each having increasingly longer flight times.
Class taken in Spring 2019. Designed algorithms for a small self-driving racecar, culminating with a high-speed race around the basement of Stata (MIT Building 32).
Challenge to design and build a long-endurance heavy-lifting drone, capable of carrying a 50kg payload for at least one hour. Our proposal was accepted for the first stage of the competition.
A complete system for drone flight control, 4G LTE video transmission and telemetry, in addition to a redundant power supply for parachute deployment.
An autonomous vehicle that navigates rough terrain, avoids obstacles, and uses machine vision to detect traffic cones. Competed in the Robogames Robomagellan competition in San Mateo, CA, placing 4th overall.
Runs on gasoline to generate electric power, while weighing a fraction of current technology. Patent-pending, this generator was designed as a range extender for electric drones.
